Document No. 147 - AFL-CIO Letter  of February 1, 2012, from Richard L. Trumka to President Obama on the U.S.-Colombia free trade agreement. 

Document No. 146 - TPP: Views of Peter D. Ehrenhaft submitted to USTR on January 13, 2012, in response to USTR's request for comments in response to the requests made by Canada, Japan, and Mexico to join the TPP negotiations.   Mr. Ehrenhaft is concerned in these comments primarily with TPP's potential for liberalizing trade in legal services.

Document No. 145 - TPP: Views of the Canadian Government on Canada and TPP, presented to USTR in January 2012.

Document No. 144 - TPP: Caterpillar Submission to USTR of January 11, 2012.  Filed in response to a USTR request for comments on including Canada, Japan, and Mexico in the TPP negotiations, this submission argues for welcoming all three as TPP negotiating partners and in addition discusses certain issues in the negotiation.

Document No. 143 - The Chinese Pork Dilemma.  These are the slides presented by David C. Nelson, global strategist with Rabobank, at the September 14 GBD colloquium on Trade and the Chinese Diet.

Document No. 142 - Trade and China's Food Needs.  These are the slides Dr. Dermot Hayes, an agricultural economist, presented at the September 14 GBD Colloquium on Trade and the Chinese Diet.

Document No. 141 - Trade in Pork: U.S. Exports, China's Imports. These graphs show the trade in pork and pork products between the U.S. and China for the first seven months of 2011.

Document No. 135 - Catching the December Wave, Part I, with William Lane of Caterpillar.  This MP3 recording includes the first segment of the GBD Colloquium, Catching the December Wave: Issues for the WTO's 2011 Ministerial, which was held at the National Press Club in Washington, DC, on July 14, 2011.   This segment includes introductory remarks by GBD President R. K. Morris, the audio of a trade education video  prepared by the U.S. U.S. Global Leadership Coalition, and remarks by William Lane of Caterpillar.

Document No. 134 - Remarks of the Australian Embassy's Minister-Counselor for Trade, Cathy Raper, at the GBD colloquium on July 14, 2011, "Catching the December Wave: Issues for the WTO's 2011 Ministerial."

Document  No. 133 - A Letter on the Doha Round from Caterpillar CEO Douglas R. Oberhelman.  Dated, June 28, 2011, this letter was sent separately to the trade ministers of the United States, Brazil, China, India, and the European Union.  In it, Mr. Oberhelman sets out the very strong case for positive action on the Doha Round agenda. 

Document No. 132 - Statement from Sen. Orrin Hartch (R-Utah) on the Administration's apparent unwillingness to clarify whether there are or are not pre-conditions for requesting a vote on the FTA with Colombia separate from those laid out in the Action Plan on labor issues.   Offered in the Senate on May 12, 2011.

- The SEC's Proposed Rule on Conflict Minerals of December 15, 2010.

Document No. 129  ̶  A letter from Nancy Z. Boswell, the president and CEO, of the U.S. chapter of Transparency International to the United States Trade Representative.  Issued on August 10, 2010, the letter urges the United States to put forward certain positions in the context of the TPP (Trans-Pacific Partnership) negotiations.

- A letter from Ways and Means Committee Chairman Dave Camp (R-Mich), dated March 7, 2011, and sent to U.S. Trade Representative Ron Kirk in response to his letter on the free trade agreement with South Korea of the same date (see below).

Ambassador Ron Kirk's letter of March 7, 2011, to Ways and Means Committee Chairman Dave Camp (Republican of Michigan), advising him that USTR has completed its initial work on the implementing legislation for the U.S. free trade agreement with South Korea and the associated Statement of Administrative Action.

Document No. 126 - An audio recording of Laura Lane's remarks at the GBD colloquium on February 24, 2011, Rational Tenacity, which focused on the U.S.-Colombia free trade agreement.  Ms. Lane is Senior Vice President for International Government Affairs at Citi in Washington. 

Document No. 125 - An audio recording of the remarks of Nick Giordano at the GBD colloquium of February 24, 2011, Rational Tenacity, on the U.S.-Colombia free trade agreement.  Mr. Giordano is Vice President and International Trade Counsel  for the National Pork Producers Council (NPPC).

No. 1004, GBD - A recording of the GBD colloquium Valuing (U.S.) Global Investment: A Framework Discussion for FDI Policies from BITs to Taxes.  The event was held at the National Press Club on February 24, 2010, and included remarks by Gary Clyde Hufbauer of the Peterson Institute for International Economics; R.
